2009 Plowing Classes
HORSES:
1.  Any plow. strictly beginners. Previous winners of any first prize barred.
2.  Jointer plow. open to all.
3.  Antique riding plows, horse drawn.

TRACTORS:
4.  Mounted plows, two furrow open split, boys and girls 10-16 years by match time.
5.  Mounted plows, two furrow open split boys and girls 17-21 years by match time.
6.  Mounted plows. two furrow open split, open to all, no handling of plowing.
7.  Mounted plows, three furrow, open the LANARK COUNTY ONLY.
8.  Mounted plows, three furrow, open to all
9.  Mounted or semi-mounted plows, four furrows, open to all.
10. Utility class, open to two or three furrow plows, non-competition type.
11. Antique trailer plows, two or three furrow plows, mechanical lift, equipment and tractor             prior to 1950, any type.
12. Antique trailer plows, two or three furrow plows, mechanical lift, equipment and tractor             prior to 1950, open to first prize winners at any previous match only.
13. Queen of the Furrow Competition, girls ages 16-24, single, no opening split, two rounds.          Tractor and plow to be supplied.
14. Lanark County Directors Class - Friday August 21, 2009.  Horse class to remain on                Saturday. All classes except 10, 11 &12 must complete an opening split.  Note Directors         cannot plow in the same class on Saturday as he/she did on Friday.
15. Lanark County V.I.P. Class Saturday, August 22, 2009.  Open to Farm Machinery dealers of Lanark County & surrounding area, no open split, any plow.
