Welcome to our 15th Annual Plowing Match!

This year our Match will be held on the farm of Glen, Connie, Kevin and Vicky Willows and families, 173 Fallbrook Road,  Lot 26 Con 7 Bathurst Township, Friday, August 24th and Saturday, August 25th, 2001.

Friday will focus on the plowing club and the Directors plowing classes.

Saturday our main event day features the horses and tractor classes, antiques and machinery displays, and the Ladies craft displays.  Also the Lanark Soils and Crop Association plan a display of farm equipment.  Saturday will also host the Queen of the Furrow Competition, plowing and speeches.  The Civitan members will provide an evening meal at their Hall.  We will also have a Canteen provided by the Plowmen's Association both days on the grounds.

I wish to thank all those that have helped in organizing the Match, and all that took part plowing.

Bert Lowry
